Did you know that in December of '04 Verizon Internet services put a global policy in place to automatically block all email coming from Europe, New Zealand, and China?

This is just sickening.
In addition to their global blocking, they have also blocked many legitimate ESPs (email service providers), across the board.

One of the threads I saw on this topic this morning said that a lot of independent ISPs were going to disallow any *incoming* email from Verizon as a rebuttle.

I do have many international subscribers, and it worries me that they may be affected.

I realized after I sent the Ryze notice, that I mis-worded this.
One thing we have seen at EZezine, is that Verizon is very quick to reject any and all bulk email, without a question. If you have subscribers with Verizon addresses, it is important that you urge them to add your from address to their address books. (Of course, how you get this information to them is another matter.)
For the zealous Verizon subscribers, if they do add your address and are still not receiving your ezine, have them scream and yell and raise all kinds of noise with Verizon.
It'll be curious to see the outcome of any class action suits that are pending.

In fact, I ? each month about writing another article and sending it, given I have about 10-20% that are kicked back...very discouraging...

I haven't been able to find documentation on how Verizon is determining which "foreign" domains they are allowing and not. I'll certainly post any info I come across.
I'm gonna start a different thread to discuss your bounces, as that is a whole different shabang.
